This is a piece for temple blocks and voice, centred around recordings of a skype conversation between the two creators of the piece, Tim and Sam. Exploring a childhood memory of a speech impediment and rhythmic nuances in casual speech, this piece is personal to the performer and therefore has no score, is part semi-improvised and part acutely structured. It was devised collaboratively.
